In 2011, funds and electronic transfer solutions (fets) Limited began its journey in the mobile money space, and since then we have maintained industry standard leadership with an outlook to grow beyond just mobile money.

It came as no surprise that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) recently approved fets licensing to become a payment terminal service provider (PTSP), this license means that fets is tasked with developing, supporting and maintaining the PoS terminals at merchant locations on behalf of merchant acquirers and terminal owners in the country, fets is also allowed to identify merchant opportunities in the market.

fets is now looking to drive a deeper penetration of agent network services at merchant locations, all fets services will be available on its terminals. The merchants will become the community change agent through aggregated services available at their location. With this, customers will be able to do transactions such as cash in, cash out, transfers, bill payments, airtime, savings, microcredits, micro insurance and many more services.
